Remembering Master Teacher Dick Cuyler
Last month we shared the sad news that Lessac Master Teacher Richard “Dick” Cuyler passed away on Tuesday, March 18. To read the original post, share a memory, or learn more about Dick’s life and connection to the LTRI, click here.
We are now passing along the information from Saundra about Dick’s memorial service which will be held on Sunday, April 27th at 2:00 PM (EDT) at Grace Community Church in Mills River North Carolina.
For those unable to attend in person, the service will be live-streamed. Saundra will be sharing the link with us as we get closer to the date. We also understand that a recording of the service will be available.
In lieu of flowers, Saundra has thoughtfully suggested that donations be made to the Lessac Institute in Dick's memory.
We will share the live stream link with you as soon as we receive it.

A Members Bauhaus is an opportunity to commune in a casual and supportive space. No registration is required. All members are welcome. We are still interviewing for a few remaining spots in our US Summer 1 and 2 - Week Residential Workshops. We've got an eclectic group shaping up who use or hope to use the work in all kinds of interesting ways: Somatics, Music, Performance of Art and Self, Therapy and Alternative Wellness, just to name a few. So come join us for a 1 or 2 week ‘refresher,’ deepen your practice or just deepen your connection to self and others.
1 WEEK - DISCOVER : Introduction to Kinesensics and application to life and creative contexts. EXPERIENCE and explore introductory Lessac Kinesensic concepts, such as, body pain relievers, relaxer-energizers, Body NRG’s, Vocalizations, and Vocal NRG’s, as applicable to well-being. Level 1 Workshop towards Certification Candidacy
2 WEEKS - DIVE DEEPER : In-depth exploration of bodyvoice awareness for performance and personal growth. Building on introductory concepts, week two will deepen your embodied understanding and navigation of Lessac concepts towards an effective performance of self.
