South Africa Intensive WORKSHOP
3-Week Tiered Program

Designed for performers, movers, somatic wellness practitioners, and curious creators, this intensive offers an immersive, holistic approach to bodyvoice and movement training rooted in the evolution of Kinesensics. Through guided somatic exploration, you’ll build practical, lifelong skills to free your voice, ground your body, and tap into a more dynamic, effortless presence. This program is ISMETA-Approved.
Group, small group and individual facilitation
135 total hours (in-studio and asynchronous material) of intensive training
PROGRAM TIERS AND PREREQUISITES
Week 1 Only (Jan 11–16) | Prerequisite: None. Open to all curious movers and creators.
Weeks 1–2 (Jan 11–23) |Prerequisite: Any introductory somatic learning experience accepted.
Weeks 1–3 (Jan 11–30) | Prerequisite: Advanced somatic learning experience required.
Facilitator Training
Facilitator Training will run concurrently in Week 3. (Jan 25-30) | Prerequisite: Qualified Certification Candidates only. If interested, please contact Marth Munro or Deb Kinghorn
TUITION & HOW TO APPLY

Attend a short interview via Phone, WhatsApp, or Zoom to discuss your goals and prerequisites.
Receive acceptance and payment instructions.
For Citizens of African Countries
Proof of citizenship (Identity Document or Passport) will be required. Payments are processed by the University of Pretoria in South African Rand (ZAR).
Week 1 only: R2,500
Weeks 1 & 2 only: R4,750
Weeks 1, 2 & 3: R6,500

Payments are processed in USD. LTRI members receive a tuition discount.
Week 1 only: $1,000 (non-Member) $900 (LTRI Member)
Weeks 1 & 2 only: $2,000 (Non-Member) $1,800 ( LTRI Member)
Weeks 1, 2 & 3: $2,700 (LTRI Membership required)

Housing for participants
Housing is not included in the workshop fee. Several housing options exist. We will provide you with a list of University housing options, B&B’s, and guest houses around campus so you can arrange your housing according to your budget.
Subsistence budget provided as a guideline for participants: A person can live off R300 a day in the Pretoria area. If a participant is here for 22 days, it works out at R6600 (Currency Converter).
