This biennial workshop (previously known as "Sustaining Certification") is an essential part of continuing professional development and required for all Lessac Certified Trainers. All members of the Lessac Training and Research Institute (LTRI) are also welcome to attend and participate in this enriching 3-hour seminar.
What to Expect
Join us for an interactive and engaging session where we'll delve into new advancements in Kinesensics, answer your questions, and explore the mysteries of bodyvoice training. This course counts toward 3 hours of your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements, in addition to the time spent reading the assigned book (see below).
Workshop Topics
Our discussions will cover a wide range of fascinating subjects, including:
Exploring Consonant NRG by expanding on point of contact, pressure, and the musicality of language.
Exploring Kinesensics through facilitation language—invitations vs. directions
Incorporating human developmental patterns of body and voice into your teaching.
Differentiating between Amplitude and Loudness to achieve dense output without excessive volume.
Shifting from a mechanical to a biotensegric view of the body, and how this new perspective affects our tune-ups and our perception of interconnectedness.
Deepening our understanding of the 5 levels of communicative behavior.

Required Reading
Dr. Ingo Titze has generously made his book, "Fascinations with the Human Voice," available to LTRI members at a 25% discount! We'll be using this short but engaging book as a springboard for our discussions. You can find the discounted book and further information in the member portal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the workshop free? Yes, this workshop is a benefit of your LTRI membership.
Do I have to register? No registration is required for live attendance, but attendance will be taken for Certified Trainers to declare the hours.
Will the session be recorded? Yes, the workshop will be recorded and available for four months following the live event.
What if I'm a Certified Trainer and can't attend live? While live participation is highly encouraged, we understand that may not always be possible. Certified Trainers will have up to four months to watch the recorded session and have their viewing log (collected by Zoom) count for their requirements.
